Dear Hilda,
Once again thank you for a wonderful day of birding on
March 13th. Your knowledge, enthusiasm and integrity

In addition, thank you for the scscb link. You and your

Low elevations and strong winds off the ocean are
responsible for Puerto Rico´s second subtropical dry forest
area. Fajardo is a perfect spot for bird watchers looking for
endemic species (Adelaide´s Warbler, Tody, Woodpecker,
Flycatcher), Caribbean specialties, including the Antillean
Crested Hummingbird, the Green-throated Carib, and
Caribbean Elaenia.
Birding Puerto Rico created this birding route to give you
the opportunity to see all hummingbirds that nest in our
territory in a short time frame.
Five hummingbirds and two opposite forest zones: a
tropical rain forest and a subtropical dry forest. This option
is also available departing from San Juan.
- Puerto Rican Emerald
- Puerto Rican Green Mango
- Antillean Crested Hummingbird
- Green-throated Carib
- Antillean Mango ·
