During a full-day birding trip to El Yunque National Forest & the east region, the following sixteen endemic species have been found:  
Tody, Woodpecker, Elfin Woods, Bullfinch, Flycatcher, Lizard Cuckoo, Green Mango, Emerald, Tanager, Vireo*, Spindalis, Oriole,
Parrot*, Yellow-shouldered Blackbird*, and Adelaide´s Warbler; plus, Antillean and Caribbean specialties, such as:  Antillean Euphonia,
Green-throated Carib, Antillean Mango, Loggerhead Kingbird (a possible endemic), and other species depending on time of the year.

*Rare
  • Sixteen endemic bird species including our Parrot

  • Migratory species (seasonal)
  • Five species of hummingbirds
  • 20 years in business, fully licensed company
We hold special permits to start our birding trips before the Visitor Center is open to the public.

Nominated as one of the new Seven Wonders of Nature, El
Yunque National Forest is known as one of the best birding
spots on the eastern region of Puerto Rico where you also will
see unique creatures found nowhere else in this Planet.

There is no other place in Puerto Rico like El Yunque.  In here
you will find eleven endemic bird species, such as:  Lizard
Cuckoo, Flycatcher, Tody, Woodpecker, Tanager, Spindalis,
Oriole, Emerald, Green Mango, Screech Owl, and Bullfinch.  
Rare endemics seen in our previous full-day birding trips are the
Parrot, Vireo, Elfin Woods Warbler, Adelaide´s Warbler, and
Yellow-shouldered Blackbird.  Depending on the season,
migratory species will be on our way, along native and
Antillean/Caribbean specialties.  

Your host will be a
Certified Tour Guide by the Government and
a
Certified Interpretive Naturalist Guide by APIE (Puerto Rican
Association of Interpertation), with 20 years of experience leading
islandwide birding trips.
 
All birding trips are weather permissible. especially during the Summer--Sahara dust, Monserrat Volcano ashes,
high concentration of mold, and/or Hurricane Season.
