Dear Hilda,

Once again thank you for a wonderful day of birding on
March 13th.  Your knowledge, enthusiasm and integrity
made the tour well worth it.  It was a pleasure.

In addition, thank you for the scscb link.  You and your

Our very best wishes and again thank you.

Half-day birding trips are the perfect alternative for those with
limited time in the region, known as Porta del Sol, the brand name
for the region as part of the sustainable development efforts of the
government and private sector.

This is the home for three of our endemics:  Elfin Woods
Warbler, Yellow-shouldered Black Bird and Nightjar.  Except
for our Parrot, all endemic species are found in this region,
including possible endemics, such as Lesser Antillean
Pewee, Antillean Euphonia, Loggerhead Kingbird, and a
subspecies of the Sharp-shinned Hawk.

If you want to see all the endemic species, we suggest a
full-day birding trip or the Western Endemic Bird Trail.
You can also
combine two options.  A night option is
available for the Nightjar.
For best results, you can view this website using Internet Explorer.
Caribbean Elaenia, Antillean Euphonia, Antillean Mango, West Indian Whistling Duck, Masked Duck, Antillean Nighthawk, Caribbean
Martin, Smooth-billed Ani, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Broad-winged Hawk, Tropic Birds, Troupial, Key West Quail-Dove.  Plus two possible
endemics:  Loggerhead Kingbird and Puerto Rican Pewee.
