The Puerto Rican Nightar is a rare night bird that is
mostly heard, but not seen.  We encourage birders
not to use playbacks to find the bird.

If you are birding during daylight and you hear the
Nightjar, please keep walking on the trail as quite
as possible and avoid stressing this rare
endangered species.
