Not only she is the founder and owner of the company, but the only Certified Interpretive Tour Guide specialized
in birding. She has been working as a Tour Guide since 1992, and opened the first ecotour company endorsed
by the Puerto Rico Tourism Company in the west of Puerto Rico, now known as Porta del Sol.

- Logistics Coordinator and volunteer for the CBC at Vieques Island since 2004).
- Volunteer APIE (Puerto Rican Association of Interpretation and Education) since 2002.
- As member of the Puerto Rican Ornithological Society, he has been part of their Board of Directors in
several occasions and recently elected Vice-President. - Coordinator of Caño Tiburones Bird Count.
- At this moment, he is in charge of double checking rare bird included in e-Bird, and works as a volunteer
of the Scientific Citizen program for the Puerto Rican Conservation Trust Company.
