We are a fully-licensed tour operator specializing in bird watching.  We hold special permits for bird watching in El Yunque, plus certification by the
Puerto Rico Tourism Board as Guide and Driver.  Our vehicles, drivers and Guides comply with the necessary permits from Forest Service.

Through the Puerto Rican Association of Interpretation and Education, Inc. (APIE) we
coordinate three Christmas Bird Counts (Mayagüez, Maricao, Vieques Island) plus this
year we are adding Piñones State Forest. We also share our expertise as volunteers of
El Yunque and Caño Tiburones CBC.  This is a limited time special offer where you will be
joining Birder Guide and CBC Coordinator Hilda Morales.  
As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility we have been actively involved in  educational activities for more than fifteen years.  We
finally put the pieces together in 2002 and created a NGO,  the Asociación Puertorriqueña de Interpretación y Educación, Inc. (APIE).  
We immediately we knew that the main goal of our environmental educational activities where going to be addressed to help birder
guides to improve birding techiniques and to involve children and their parents and teachers into bird watching.  Henceforth,
"conservation through birding" is the best way to describe it.
