Our business was established in 1992 in Mayagüez, the
largest city in the western region. This is were we started
our birding business. In one lucky and productive day, we
can have our 19 endemic bird species.
A half birding trip to Puerto Rico is not complete if we
don´t go to Maricao, a small town located in the western
high mountains. There are only two places to look for the
Tanager and the Elfin-woods Warbler: El Yunque and
Maricao, plus many other endemic bird species. The
Triangle is another half day bird outing that includes
El Túnel Negro and other places of Quebradillas.
A full day Western Birding Loop to the southwest
includes karst, dry forests, scrub, and lagoons, this is
where we look for the Yellow-shouldered Blackbird,
Puerto Rican Nightjar, plus Flycatcher, Adelaide´s
Warbler and other endemic species. All-inclusive
birding tour packages are also available.
